A Cause for Comedy is an all-star comedy performance streamed live from the historic Hollywood Improv, with proceeds going directly to a new featured organization each month. Hosted and produced by Ben Morrison from MTV’s Punk’d, A Cause for Comedy features one-of-a-kind surprises and original content by some of the best comedic talents in the country. Please be a part of this historic comedy series as a whole lotta funny, raise a whole lotta money. A Cause for Comedy is staged in partnership with Causecast.org and the Hollywood Improv.
About Causecast

CREATIVE VISIONS FOUNDATION
Creative Visions Foundation supports "Creative Activists", individuals who use the power of media and the arts to create positive change in the world. Creative Visions Foundation partners with creative activists through fiscal sponsorship, mentorship and outreach programs to develop, thrive and promote vital social change. Their network of creative activists inspires others to be the spark of change in communities all over the world.
The Creative Visions Foundation is inspired by the life of Dan Eldon, an artist, adventurer and activist killed in Somalia in 1993 while covering the conflict as a photojournalist for Reuters News Agency. He was 22. Launched by his mother, Kathy Eldon, a former journalist and filmmaker, and his sister, Amy Eldon Turteltaub, a documentary producer, CVF is a publicly supported 501(c)3 organization that supports “creative activists” like Dan - who use thought and imagination to catalyze positive change in our world.

Although local Los Angeles residents are encouraged to join Causecast at the Improv, those not able to attend in person can watch A CAUSE FOR COMEDY LIVE and FREE via Stickam at ACauseForComedy.org.
